Mint a token
Your server calls POST /v1/embed-tokens for the logged-in user; they're enrolled on first use.

Load the widget
Your page loads embed.js with the token. Use the iframe or build your own UI from the JSON endpoint.

Reward both sides
The friend's discount becomes a Stripe coupon on their customer record; the referrer's reward is applied when approved.

Double-sided discounts, automatic
The campaign's discount for referred customers becomes a Stripe coupon and is attached to the referred customer as soon as they're linked. Affiliate promo codes become real Stripe promotion codes.
Secure by construction
The embed token is only ever sent in a header, never in a URL. 'Open full dashboard' trades it for a single-use link valid for a minute. The widget is the only page allowed inside other sites' frames.

No. They're enrolled in the embed-enabled campaign the first time the widget loads for them.
Can I build my own referral UI?
Yes. GET /v1/embed/me returns the same data the widget shows, authorized with the embed token.
Which billing systems support free-month rewards?
Free months extend the referrer's own Stripe subscription as a trial extension, so rewards add up and nothing is prorated.
